Florida Association for Women Lawyers

The Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) was founded in 1951 and has celebrated over 60 years of advancing women into leadership positions in the legal field. In order to continue this goal of supporting women lawyers the association provides free CLE programming, e-newsletters, a bi-annual journal, and many networking opportunities.

In order to stay in touch with communities throughout Florida the FAWL has local chapters in almost every county and even in some larger cities. These chapters assist the association in achieving its goals of staying in touch with local communities and helping the poor attain legal representation in court.
