Women Lawyers Association

The Women Lawyers Association (WLA) was established to support the female attorneys of Indiana. While the main focus of the Women Lawyers Association is on Indiana, lawyers working in Illinois are also permitted to join the WLA. However, the majority of the members of the Women Lawyers Association work in northwestern Indiana.

Female lawyers join the Women Lawyers Association for a variety of reasons. The WLA is active in promoting women in the legal profession in Indiana, including discussing female candidates in judiciary political races with the local press. Members of the Women Lawyers Association are encouraged to network with one another at the dinner meetings that the WLA arranges for its members each month.
