Federal Bar Association - Massachusetts Chapter

The Federal Bar Association – Massachusetts Chapter (FBA) is a regional chapter for the members of the Federal Bar Association that practice law in Massachusetts. Membership for the Federal Bar Association is limited to only lawyers that are admitted to practice law in federal court, regardless if they work in the public or private sector, and law students. Consequently, membership to the Massachusetts Chapter is open to anyone that is admitted to practice law in federal court and resides or works in Massachusetts, in addition to anyone currently attending one of Massachusetts’ law schools.

Many attorneys in Massachusetts join the Massachusetts Chapter of the FBA for the assorted events that it hosts throughout the year. Some of these events are of a social nature, such as the Law of Wine tasting event and the annual Judicial Reception, and they are held by the Federal Bar Association – Massachusetts Chapter in order to provide the members an opportunity to network with one another and relax with their fellow attorneys outside of the office and the courtroom. Other events sponsored by the Federal Bar Association – Massachusetts Chapter are designed to improve the professional skills and increase the knowledge of the chapter’s members, including interviewing skills workshops and speaker seminars.
