Frederick County Bar Association
The Frederick County Bar Association (BAFC) is a fraternal organization committed to providing professional development and networking opportunity for attorneys in this county of approximately 230,000 residents. BAFC’s mission is to ensure justice is administered fairly, the integrity of the legal profession is upheld, and promoting legal education.
To connect with a local attorney in Maryland, post your case online at LegalMatch.com. Before selecting the right attorney for your case, you can review in-depth attorney profiles that include reviews from past clients.
The Fredrick County Bar Association hosts multiple events for their members including a golf tournament, picnics, a judge’s dinner, luncheons, and a holiday party. BAFC also offers CLE’s, medication re-certification seminars, and an attorney referral service that community members can use to find legal representation.
Joining the Frederick County Bar Association is more difficult than most voluntary bar associations. Membership is open to attorneys admitted to practice in Maryland and for a membership application to be reviewed a current BAFC member must sponsor you. If you are sponsored and a licensed attorney, the BAFC executive committee will consider your application at their monthly meeting where a vote is held on whether to accept potential members.
