Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association

The Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association (MDLA) was formed on March 30, 1963 and has over 700 members that specialize in civil defense. The organization has several goals that include exchanging information on court decisions, representing the defense position on legislation, providing networking opportunities for members, and continuing legal education seminars.

In order to enhance the experience of its members the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association has an array of committees for its members to join. For example, the association has an amicus curiae committee, commercial litigation committee, employment law committee, insurance law committee, motor vehicle accident committee, and products liability committee.
