Missouri Association of Prosecuting Attorneys
Created in 1969, the Missouri Association of Prosecuting Attorneys (MAPA) was established to support prosecutors located throughout Missouri. MAPA’s primary goals are to assist in increasing uniformity of the role of prosecutors in Missouri, foster the professional development of its members, and to serve as a unified voice for the interests of Missouri prosecutors both in the state legislature and in the general public. Since the Missouri Association of Prosecuting Attorneys exists for prosecutors, membership is restricted to active prosecutors, assistant prosecutors, and military lawyers stationed in Missouri.
LegalMatch is a popular alternative to finding an attorney through bar associations in Missouri. To connect with an experienced attorney in your area, post your case for free at LegalMatch.com. After posting your case, you will be able to browse detailed profiles of attorneys. Many attorney profiles at LegalMatch include reviews from past clients, which can be highly valuable when selecting the best attorney for your case.
MAPA strives to provide support to its members in various capacities. Each year, the Missouri Association of Prosecuting Attorneys honors one of its own members by giving them the Prosecutor of the Year award. Members have an opportunity to connect with and learn from one another at MAPA’s annual meeting.
