Camden County Bar Association
The Camden County Bar Association (CCBA) was founded in 1881, and has since grown to become New Jersey's second-largest county bar association, after Essex County. They strive to serve the public and the legal profession by improving the quality of lawyering in Camden County through education, lawyer referrals, and volunteer service.
While it does not directly operate a legal aid service, the Bar Association's lawyer referral service can be very helpful for individuals looking for an attorney, who do not know where to begin their search.
The Camden County Bar Association also runs a pro bono project, in association with South Jersey Legal Services, Inc. called the Children's Advocacy Project. This project provides free legal services for children in the areas of education and healthcare, among others.
