Oswego County Bar Association
Founded in 1901, the Oswego County Bar Association currently counts over 100 legal professionals as members. It states that its mission is to "uphold the legal profession and its dignity, reform the law and process when necessary, enhance the efficiency of justice, and to promote a sense of community in the legal profession."
The Oswego County Bar Association co-sponsors the Oswego County Mock Trial Program. This program invites local high school students to be involved in a mock trial tournament that teaches kids about the legal system and how it applies to everyday life. All the local teams go up against each other to see which team will represent Oswego County in the statewide tournament.
