There are several means that the Chattanooga Chapter utilizes to benefit its members, such as hosting continuing legal education courses and providing practice tips in each newsletter. Additionally, the Chattanooga Chapter of the Federal Bar Association maintains a strong sense of community among its members by holding monthly meetings and by issuing a quarterly newsletter to its members.

Aside from helping out lawyers that practice in southeastern Tennessee’s federal courts, the Chattanooga Chapter of the Federal Bar Association also works to aid the local residents. Members regularly give tours of the federal courthouse to school groups through the Chattanooga Chapter’s community outreach committee. Each year, the Chattanooga Chapter of the Federal Bar Association arranges for local high school students to visit the federal courthouse and interact with judges and lawyers as part of its Law Day programming.
