Charlottesville Albemarle Bar Association
Serving all of Albemarle County and the independent city of Charlottesville, the Charlottesville Albemarle Bar Association (CABA) was created to improve law as a profession and preserve the legal community of Charlottesville-Albemarle. Since CABA is focused on being beneficial to attorneys in the Charlottesville-Albemarle area, membership for the Charlottesville Albemarle Bar Association is strictly limited to lawyers that are licensed to practice in Virginia and reside or work in Charlottesville, Albemarle County, or an adjoining county. The Charlottesville Albemarle Bar Association also aims to benefit the general population of the region encompassed by Albemarle County and Charlottesville, primarily through providing helpful and relevant information about local pro bono legal aid programs and regional courts.
LegalMatch.com helps you quickly connect with lawyers in Virginia. The attorney-client matching service offered by LegalMatch allows you to review highly detailed attorney profiles so that you can select the right lawyer for your case.
There are several ways that members of the Charlottesville Albemarle Bar Association can connect with their fellow member attorneys and become actively involved in the organization. Many members of CABA choose to belong to one or more of the special legal interest sections that work to maintain a sense of camaraderie among the lawyers practicing in these specific legal fields and help create programs dealing with that particular area of law that are put on by the Charlottesville Albemarle Bar Association. Additionally, the Charlottesville Albemarle Bar Association has created several committees to allow its members to help govern different aspects of the organization, such as the Bench-Bar Relations committee and the Speakers & Entertainment committee.
