Hill Tucker Bar Association

Originally called the Richmond Chapter of the Old Dominion Bar Association, the Hill Tucker Bar Association is a bar association for the greater Richmond area.† Although the Hill Tucker Bar Association was founded to promote the professional careers of African American lawyers within Richmondís legal community, membership to the Hill Tucker Bar Association is open to all attorneys that are licensed to practice in Virginia, regardless of race.† The goals of the Hill Tucker Bar Association have also expanded from the furtherance of African Americans in the legal profession to promoting equality and due justice for all attorneys and their clients in the greater Richmond area, supporting an impartial and uniform administration of justice, and promoting respect for the legal profession among the general public.
