The Brown County Bar Association (BCBA) exists for the benefit of Brown County’s legal community. Additionally, the BCBA provides help in various forms to the residents of Brown County. Some of the ways that the Brown County Bar Association and its members serve the local community include awarding an annual scholarship to a Brown County law student, participating in pro bono legal clinics, and helping to run mock trial competitions at local high schools.

Aside from its community outreach efforts, the BCBA also aids its members in numerous ways. New attorneys that are members of the Brown County Bar Association have their own Young Lawyers Division, which provides lawyers that have been practicing for less than five years several opportunities to network and socialize with one another at monthly meetings. All of the BCBA’s members are given an opportunity to network with other members at the annual holiday party.
