Nassau County Women’s Bar Association

The Nassau County Women's Bar Association states that its mission is to promote the advancement of the status of women in the community and of women in the legal profession; to support the just and equal administration of justice; and to act as a united voice for its members with respect to issues of significance to women generally and to women lawyers.

The Nassau County Women's Bar Association runs a mentoring program that all members are encouraged to sign up for, either in a mentor or prot’g’ status. In addition, the bar association also organizes various pro bono opportunities for its members to participate in. These free legal advice sessions offer the members a great way to give directly back to their communities.
