Lawyers Club of Atlanta

The Lawyers Club of Atlanta has been in existence since 1922 and currently has 1,700 members. The Lawyers Club of Atlanta has deep ties to Atlanta and has held monthly meetings since 1922 in various locations throughout Atlanta. These meeting locations have included the Piedmont Hotel, the Commerce building, and currently the meetings take place at the Peachtree Center. The purpose of the Lawyers Club of America is to administer justice, uphold the integrity of the legal profession, and promote camaraderie among members.

The Lawyers Club of America has monthly dinner meetings, cocktail receptions, and non-fiction book club meetings. The Lawyers Club of America also has a holiday party, whiskey tasting events, wine tasting events, and happy hours. An additional benefit for members is use of the club headquarters where members can conduct depositions, host private parties, or smoke in the cigar lounge.

Becoming a member of the Lawyers Club of America is very selective and you must have been licensed to practice law for 48 months and have three current members write you letters of recommendation. If you meet those qualifications, you can submit an application and new members will be selected biannually in Spring and Fall. You must also fill out a membership application and pay a $350 annual due.
