Greater Lynn Bar Association
Since 1890, the Greater Lynn Bar Association has worked to promote the legal profession and benefit the legal community in the economic region surrounding the city of Lynn. The Greater Lynn Bar Association is also dedicated to helping facilitate the administration of law in the greater Lynn area. One way that the Greater Lynn Bar Association improves the enforcement of law and justice in the local community is by providing several useful links and other information on its website that allow for local residents to locate governmental agencies and other organizations, such as the ACLU and the Department of Justice’s ADA Information Hotline, that may be beneficial to them in figuring out their legal problems.
LegalMatch operates a valuable online service that connect Massachusetts residents with highly qualified local attorneys. An entirely free service, LegalMatch allows potential clients to post cases online for review by attorneys in the LegalMatch system. Prior to selecting an attorney, potential clients are able to review detailed attorney profiles and past client reviews.
The Greater Lynn Bar Association values the continuing education of its members. Every year, the Greater Lynn Bar Association co-sponsors a lecture series with the Essex County Bar Association on various topics of the law that are intended to inform the Greater Lynn Bar Association’s members about recent changes to the area of law that is being lectured on. Also, the Greater Lynn Bar Association holds an annual meeting at which there is always an informative keynote speaker.
