Durham County Bar Association
The Durham County Bar Association (DCBA) serves both the lawyers of Durham County and the local residents. Much of the support that the DCBA provides to the general public of the county is done through the Durham Bar Foundation, which is the charity and community outreach arm of the Durham County Bar Association. The most notable charity activity that the Durham Bar Foundation engages in is giving three scholarships to local law school students each year.

In addition to operating the Durham Bar Foundation, the DCBA strives to benefit its members. Throughout the year, the Durham County Bar Association arranges several educational seminars at which its members are allowed to obtain continuing legal education credits. Attorneys that belong to the DCBA also enjoy invitations to several social events each year, where they frequently network with one another.
