Morris County Bar Association
Founded in 1900, and currently boasting around 1100 members, the Morris County Bar Association serves the community of Morris County. Their stated purpose is to maintain the honor and dignity of the legal profession, to promote a wider public understanding of the law and its importance to society, to constantly improve the administration of justice, and to serve the public, particularly through pro bono legal services.
Bar associates often provide a basic referral service for individuals seeking an attorney. As an alternative to utilizing bar associations, LegalMatch offers a straightforward matching service that quickly and easily connects you to a number of qualified New Jersey attorneys. The service is entirely free. An established online business, LegalMatch maintains an extensive database of attorneys located in New Jersey and across the country.
To this end, the Morris County Bar Association makes it easier for members of the local community to find lawyers by running a lawyer referral service. They also operate the Morris County Bar Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization which has grants and scholarships for law students from Morris County.
