Women’s Bar Association of New York

The Women’s Bar Association of New York is the largest bar association in the state whose presented goal is the advancement of woman within the legal profession. The membership base of over 3,800 is made up from legal professionals from all sectors of the field including attorneys from both small and large firms as well as state and federal judges.

This bar association claims to always be at the forefront of movements for legislation that would make it easier for women to advance in the legal world. In addition, the members of the bar association can choose to join any of the 38 committees that are actively run and managed by the Women’s Bar Association of New York. In addition, the bar association is also an accredited provided of Continuing Legal Education classes that are offered throughout the state.
