Bar Association of Lehigh County
The Bar Association of Lehigh County (BALC) was officially chartered in 1905 to advance the administration of justice, uphold the honor of the legal profession, and provide a social setting in which to cultivate professional working relationships. Today, the BALC provides continuing legal education, a lawyer referral service, and a law journal for its members.
LegalMatch provides a comprehensive online matching service for individuals seeking an attorney in Pennsylvania. The extensive database maintained by LegalMatch features highly qualified attorneys who hold active memberships with Pennsylvania bar associations. To connect with a local attorney through LegalMatch, simply post your case online and review the profiles of attorneys who may be interested in taking your case. This matching service is completely free.
The BALC also boasts different committees to help in planning and executing different events. For example, on Law Day the committee presents a Liberty Bell Award to a member for their commitment not only to the legal profession but the public of Lehigh County.
