Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association

Covering the Virginia Beach region, the Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association (TBBA) supports the bankruptcy attorneys practicing in and around Virginia Beach. The Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association’s objectives are to maintain a community among the lawyers practicing bankruptcy law in the Virginia Beach region, to foster interest in bankruptcy law and its practice, and to improve the flow of information between bankruptcy lawyers and the bankruptcy courts. Since the Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association exists primarily for the benefit of bankruptcy attorneys in the Virginia Beach area, membership to the Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association is restricted to lawyers that are licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and panel trustees for Chapters 7 and 13.

The Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association strives to improve its members’ professional lives. At least twice a year, the Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association holds a social outing, allowing for its members to network with one another. Also, the TBBA keeps its members well-informed of evolutions in the practice of bankruptcy law by producing all-day seminars that offer several different continuing legal educations programs for the members to choose from.
