Virginia Beach Bar Association

The Virginia Beach Bar Association (VBBA) was established in 1957 for the purposes of helping maintain a local law library, promote the advancement of the legal profession, to further the education of its members, and to support judicial equality and fairness. Although regular membership for the Virginia Beach Bar Association is restricted to Virginia Beach lawyers, associate membership is open to the general public. Judges employed by the Virginia Beach court system are encouraged to join the Virginia Beach Bar Association as honorary members.

There are many benefits that membership to the Virginia Beach Bar Association provides for attorneys in Virginia Beach. Members of the Virginia Beach Bar Association are able to utilize the free telephones and work rooms in the Virginia Beach Courthouse that the VBBA provides for their convenience. Another free convenience the Virginia Beach Bar Association gives to its members are the four continuing legal education courses that it produces each year.
