The goal of the ADLA is to encourage its members to become better lawyers, continually improve the administration of justice, and encourage its members to devote a substantial amount of their time to the defense of civil cases.
The Alabama Defense Lawyers Association is one of the only associations in Alabama that offers a Trial Academy. Members can choose to be a part of this academy which focuses on developing expert trial skills over two days. Young lawyers often speak of the valuable courtroom experience they gain from being a part of the ADLA Trial Academy.
