Greater Birmingham Criminal Defense Lawyers Association

The Greater Birmingham Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (GBCDLA) was formed in order to allow attorneys who practice criminal law to have a forum through which they can voice their concerns about the issues that affect the constitutional rights of citizens in Alabama. The GBCDLA also has the goal of encouraging lawyers to educate the public on pressing criminal law issues in Alabama.

For members, the Greater Birmingham Criminal Defense Lawyer Association has continuing legal education seminars, several monthly and annual networking events, and access to the most recent classified ads. Through networking events the GBCDLA promotes a collegial atmosphere through which criminal defense attorneys can share and find solutions to pressing criminal law issues.
