Japanese American Bar Association of Greater Los Angeles

The Japanese American Bar Association of Greater Los Angeles was founded over thirty years ago. During this time, the Japanese American Bar Association has provided its members with a unique forum where they could come together and discuss issues relating specifically to its members.

The Japanese American Bar Association of Greater Los Angeles provides the public with a listing of attorney members who volunteer to be on the list for public distribution. In addition, the Japanese Bar Association recently introduced a new service — a 24 hour Japanese legal hotline. This service was introduced to meet the needs of Japanese residents and travelers who speak Japanese and are having a hard time finding adequate legal services.

Lastly, the Japanese Bar Association of Greater Los Angeles provides its members with a Judicial Candidate Mentoring Program. This program is designed to help the members of the Japanese Bar Association who wish to become judges by introducing them to past or current judges who wish to mentor them.
