South Asian Bar Association of Connecticut

The South Asian Bar Association of Connecticut was formed in 2003 for South Asian lawyers and law students. The organization was formed for the purpose of providing members with mentoring, networking, and community service opportunities. The goals of the South Asian Bar Association of Connecticut are to not only to uphold the ethical standards of the legal profession, but also to focus on issues that affect the South Asian community within Connecticut.

The South Asian Bar Association of Connecticut provides several opportunities for its members to connect with other members through networking events, continuing legal education seminars, and several annual social events. For example, the South Asian Bar Association of Connecticut hosts family picnics and monthly meetings for members. Furthermore, the association provides networking opportunities with other minority bar associations within Connecticut.
