Clearwater Bar Association

The Clearwater Bar Association was incorporated in the late 1960’s but began its tradition of bringing together the local legal community in the 1930’s. The organization rooted itself in the advancement of the local community. Members provided sponsorships for little league teams in the area and began a lawyer referral service in the 1970s.

Today, the Clearwater Bar Association has continued its support of the community through several pro bono clinics. In 2003 the organization received the Florida Supreme Court’s Local Bar Association Pro Bono Commendation for its services to the community. Also, the association has generated several scholarships for local students to assist them in attaining a legal education.
