Collier County Women’s Bar Association

The Collier County Women’s Bar Association (CCWBA) focuses on helping women succeed in their practice of law and even helps female lawyers become appointed to the bench. They feel that more women are needed in the counties to better represent the population of women in Collier County. The CCWBA has monthly lunches to address the association’s goals for the year.

Traditions that the Collier County Women’s Bar Association has created through the years include yearly holiday parties and adopting a family in Collier County to support during Christmas. They also help attorneys with continuing education and ethical issues faced in their legal careers. Collier County Women’s Bar Association however makes it clear that this is not just a female association; men are equally welcomed and even encouraged to join.
