Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association

The Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association was incorporated in 1907. It is stated in the charter of the association that it is to sustain a “perpetual existence” as a non-profit and voluntary bar organization. The organization was created to allow networking between lawyers and judges in the Escambia and Santa Rosa communities.

Unlike other associations, the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association has created broader committees to address the concerns of its members instead of committees that focus on one area of the law. For example, there is a Continuing Legal Education Committee, Inter-Professional Relations Committee, and a Community Service Committee. This allows the organization to focus on broader issues rather than specific areas of law.
