Jacksonville Bar Association

The Jacksonville Bar Association (JBA) is one of the oldest bar associations in Florida. It was formed in 1897 by 33 members with the goal of upholding the integrity of the legal profession. Today, the association continues to fulfill that goal along with regulating the practice of law, providing networking events between its members, and to make sure members receive a continuing legal education.

The JBA has grown to over 2,000 members and is one of the most respected organizations in the state of Florida. Since the expansion of its membership the association has also added a lawyer referral service to help the public easily find an attorney that suits their needs. Through all of its growth the Jacksonville Bar Association has continued to serve the community and encourage its members to do so as well.
