Port St Lucie Bar Association
The Port St. Lucie Bar Association (PSLBA) has members from not only St. Lucie County but also from Indian River, Okeechobee, Martin, and Palm Beach Counties. Membership from counties outside of St. Lucie is encouraged because one of the PSLBA's goals is to promote a collegial environment with its neighboring legal professionals. Other goals of the Port St. Lucie Bar Association include promoting local charities and encouraging members to actively participate in them.
LegalMatch is a free online service that helps potential clients connect with qualified Florida attorneys. Traditionally, clients sought attorneys through basic referral resources offered by bar associations. Although these referral resources are still useful for many purposes, LegalMatch provides a streamlined process that is much less time consuming and stressful. LegalMatch currently maintains an extensive database of Florida attorneys representing a diverse range of practice areas.
For example, the Port St. Lucie Bar Association contributed to the Council for Aging, The Salvation Army, Operation Blue Angels, Florida Rural Legal Services, Treasure Coast Food Bank, and the Boys and Girls Club of St. Lucie County. Furthermore, more than half of the members of the organization participated in providing pro bono legal services at various events the association organized.
