The Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association (GAPABA) is a non-profit national organization that was formed in 1992 and they operate a chapter in Atlanta, Georgia. The mission of the GAPABA is to provide a support network for attorneys of Asian or Pacific Islander descent and to ensure the rights of individuals from Asian or Pacific Islander descent are protected.

GAPABA also supports the professional development of attorneys from Asian and Pacific Islander descent and offers legal fellowships to select law students as well as scholarships. The Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association also hosts numerous social activities including happy hours, a law student BBQ & Pool Party, and softball league. An attorney referral service is also offered to assist individuals of Asian or Pacific Islander descent find legal representation.

Membership in GAPABA is open to lawyers and law students. The annual dues range from $25 to $50 depending on whether a member is in private or public practice and the dues for law students are even lower. You must also fill out a brief application to become a member of the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
