The Gwinnet County Bar Association (GCBA) is a non-profit organization consisting of over 400 attorneys who practice in Gwinnet County. GCBA’s purpose is to ensure justice is properly administered, the honor of the legal profession is upheld, and to provide a forum for attorneys to interact with each other in this county of approximately 800,000 people.

The Gwinnet County Bar Association holds monthly meetings at club 1818 in Duluth and allows members of GCBA to ensure the mission of the organization is being furthered. GCBA allows provides a newsletter which won the Georgia State Bar’s best bar association newsletter. Another program offered by GCBA is the legal explorer program which is a collaboration between the Boy Scouts of America and the Gwinnet County Bar Association designed to ensure local teenagers become responsible adults.

To join the GCBA you must be a lawyer or law student and pay an annual due of $100.00 or $85.00 if the attorney has been admitted less than two years. The Gwinnet County Bar Association also offers sections in the following practice areas: criminal law, family law, and estate planning to join these sections you must pay an additional $25 annually. There is also a law student section which costs $10 per year.
