Hellenic Bar Association of Illinois

The Hellenic Bar Association of Illinois is the largest and oldest Greek-American bar association in Illinois. Founded in 1951, the bar association has strove to promote not just Greek lawyers and judges, but also diversity and Greek culture.

The public can search through the Hellenic Bar Association’s online member directory of over 300 attorneys. They can also stay up-to-date on the latest events in the Greek legal community by reading the bar association’s news feed.

Member of the Hellenic Bar Association receive all the usual benefits that come with joining a bar association, including being listed in its lawyer referral directory and invitations to CLE courses. However, the bar association goes a step further by hosting many fun and interesting networking events, such as a judge’s movie night and Greek holiday celebration dinners. For law students, the bar association also awards its Hellenic Bar Foundation Scholarship each fall to a worthy second or third year Illinois law student.
