The Women’s Criminal Defense Bar Association (WCDBA) was founded in 2005. However, despite its relatively young age, the bar association has quickly become a premier organization for criminal defense attorneys looking to shake the status quo. The bar association’s goals are to promote efficient and professional criminal representation for defendants throughout Cook and Collar counties, as well as elevate female attorneys.

The public can find an attorney by browsing the Women’s Criminal Defense Bar Association’s online membership directory. In addition, the WCDBA website also aggregates a number of useful links to local legal resources, such as the Cook County Clerk’s Office and the Illinois Supreme Court.

The Women’s Criminal Defense Bar Association boasts a diverse membership of men and women from all ethnic and social backgrounds. The bar association holds a number of annual social and professional networking events, as well as a yearly fundraiser. Members are also listed for free on the bar association’s website.
