Indianapolis Chapter of the Federal Bar Association

The Indianapolis Chapter of the Federal Bar Association does not only serve the federal legal community of Indianapolis. The federal legal community in the whole of Indiana is also supported by the Indianapolis Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Therefore, only lawyers that belong to the Federal Bar Association and have offices or residences in Indiana are permitted to join the Indianapolis Chapter.

Lawyers that practice law in the federal courts of Indiana often join the Indianapolis Chapter of the Federal Bar Association because it is any easy way for them to stay on top of the changes that happen in the local federal courts and case law. Each quarter, the Indianapolis Chapter of the Federal Bar Association publishes a newsletter for its members that inform them of significant new cases that have impacted the local federal courts in Indiana. Also, the Indianapolis Chapter of the Federal Bar Association provides its members with in-depth written explanations to any new changes that are made to local federal practice rules or proposed changes, as soon as they are made or discussed by the local rules committees.
