Founded in 1926, the Fayette County Bar Association (FCBA) has provided attorneys in Fayette County with a forum to network and develop professionally for nearly 100 years. The Fayette County Bar Association’s mission is to ensure the proper administration of justice by holding member attorneys to the highest standards of integrity and providing legal assistance to underrepresented individuals.

To accomplish its mission, the Fayette County Bar Association offers a number of events and benefits to members. These events and benefits include CLEs, a newsletter, and a lawyer referral service. The association also oversees the Fayette County Bar Foundation, a charitable foundation focused on donating time and money to individuals who need assistance navigating the judicial system.

Membership in the Fayette County Bar Association is open to attorneys and law students. To become a member you must fill out a membership application and pay an annual due ranging from $25.00 for law students to $170.00 for attorneys who have been in practice more than 10 years. The Fayette County Bar Association also has specialty sections for members such as a young lawyers section and a women lawyers section.
