Harford County Bar Association

The Harford County Bar Association serves attorneys in Harford County, which has been in existence since 1773 and currently has approximately 250,000 residents. The Harford County Bar Association itself is 75 years old and their mission is to provide professional development opportunities to ensure those residing in Harford County receive competent and efficient legal representation. The Harford County Bar Association also promotes collegiality between local attorneys by hosting networking and social events.

The Harford County Bar Association hosts multiple events including happy hours, an admission ceremony for newly licensed lawyers, Westlaw trainings, and luncheons. A unique feature of this organization is the Harford Foundation that was formed in 1991 and is dedicated to providing legal services to low-income individuals. The Harford County Bar Association also provides an attorney directory that members of the community can use to find legal assistance.

Membership in the Harford County Bar Association is open to attorneys licensed to practice in Maryland. Law student membership is available to students enrolled in ABA schools. To become a member you must mail in an application and pay an annual due of $70.00, but law student dues are reduced.
