Gallatin County Bar Association

The Gallatin County Bar Association was formed for the benefit of Gallatin County’s legal community. The predominant goals of the Gallatin County Bar Association are to encourage social and professional interaction among its members, to further the professional development of its members, and to increase local residents’ access to the judicial system. Membership to the Gallatin County Bar Association is restricted to lawyers living or working in the county.

Attorneys frequently become members of the Gallatin County Bar Association in order to enjoy its membership benefits. The Gallatin County Bar Association ensures that its members stay informed of the latest developments in law by regularly offering continuing legal education courses. Members of the Gallatin County Bar Association have numerous chances to network and socialize with one another at a variety of events that the Gallatin County Bar Association hosts, such as annual ski trips and barbecues.

The Gallatin County Bar Association also strives to benefit the local community. Each year, the Gallatin County Bar Association awards scholarships to University of Montana law students native to the county. The Gallatin County Bar Association maintains the local law library for anyone who is interested in conducting legal research.
