Atlantic County Bar Association

Atlantic County, New Jersey, is home to Atlantic City, the well-known seaside resort town. The Atlantic County Bar Association was founded in 1877 with the goal of promoting the legal profession and enhancing the public’s trust in the civil and criminal justice systems.

Atlantic City is famous for its legalized gambling. However, where it’s legal, gambling is almost always a heavily regulated industry. For this reason, there is great demand for lawyers in Atlantic County.

The Atlantic County Bar Association sponsors several charitable events throughout Atlantic County, such as an annual blood drive, a yearly Adopt-a-Family Christmas toy drive, a holiday party for children, and others. They also have scholarships for residents of Atlantic County who are currently attending law school.

Additionally, the ACBA runs a lawyer referral service, to help members of the Atlantic County community find qualified attorneys.
