Mercer County Bar Association

Incorporated in 1901, the Mercer County Bar Association currently boasts over 1,200 members. Membership is open to any lawyer who lives and/or practices in Mercer County.

The Mercer County Bar Association has a large number of committees and sections, allowing lawyers in similar practice areas to network with each other and stay abreast of the latest developments in their fields of practice.

In addition to offering continuing legal education (periodic legal education which most states require for lawyers to remain licensed), the MCBA also engages in philanthropic activities to benefit the local community, including scholarships for local law students, a service that provides senior citizens with simple estate planning services at a reduced cost.

They also operate a lawyer referral service, which is often a good starting point for members of the Mercer County community who don’t know where to start looking for a lawyer.
