Nevada Attorneys for Criminal Justice

Beginning in 1989, the Nevada Attorneys for Criminal Justice (NACJ) has worked to improve the administration of justice in Nevada’s criminal legal system and protect the individual rights of people in the criminal legal system of Nevada. The Nevada Attorneys for Criminal Justice also strives to remain active in Nevada’s legislative system by promoting laws that protect and further the main goals of the NACJ. Membership for the Nevada Attorneys for Criminal Justice is restricted to Nevada lawyers in both the private and public sectors that practice criminal defense law and law school students that are interest in criminal defense.

The Nevada Attorneys for Criminal Justice works to provide several benefits to its members. Law school students at the William S. Boyd School of Law that are members of the NACJ are able to further their legal education by applying for the annual scholarship that is given to one William S. Boyd School of Law student each year. The Nevada Attorneys for Criminal Justice keeps its members well informed about the latest changes to criminal law in Nevada through its newsletters and the news feed on its website.
