Nevada Chapter of the Federal Bar Association

The Nevada Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is the local Federal Bar Association chapter for the whole state of Nevada, although the main office for the Nevada Chapter is located in Reno. The predominant focus of the Nevada Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is to be beneficial to the attorneys of Nevada that primarily practice law in federal courts. Therefore, membership for the Nevada Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is restricted to lawyers that have offices or live in Nevada and spend the majority of their work practicing law in the federal courts in Nevada.

Lawyers frequently join the Nevada Chapter of the Federal Bar Association for the number of different benefits that are provided for its members. The Nevada Chapter of the Federal Bar hosts an annual dinner at which members may socialize and network with one another. Throughout the year, the Nevada Chapter of the Federal Bar Association also regularly coordinates continuing legal education seminars featuring speakers talking about topics that deal with federal law and the federal courts in order to increase the knowledge of its members.
