South Asian Bar Association

The South Asian Bar Association of New York claims to be a well established bar association in New York. This bar association states that it works towards the improvement of legal professionals of South Asian descent through many workshops and mentoring opportunities. In addition, this bar association is also states that it is dedicated to the legal topics of particular interest and relevance to the South Asian community.

This bar association has a mentor program. Under this well run program, senior attorney members of the South Asian Bar Association of New York mentor both young attorneys as well as law students who seek advice.

In addition, this bar association also attempts to keep the South Asian community informed and involved in matters that legally impact them. The bar association runs various pro bono legal symposiums and other events that the public is encouraged to attend.
