Black Lawyers of Cincinnati

The Black Lawyers of Cincinnati (BLAC) has been around since 1973, and their mission is to ensure that attorneys of all races, genders, and creeds are treated with the dignity, respect, and fairness everyone is entitled to. The BLAC also seeks to ensure justice is administered properly and the dignity of the legal profession is upheld.

The BLAC is involved in the community and offers multiple services for their members. A few features of the BLAC are an attorney directory available to the public to search for member attorneys who specialize in certain areas of the law.  The Black Lawyers of Cincinnati also hosts dinner events and award ceremonies. One of the biggest events conducted by the BLAC is the scholarship and award annual ceremony. At this event the BLAC awards three scholarships to select law students to assist them in their legal studies.

Membership in the BLAC is open to attorneys, law students, and other legal professionals. To become a member you must fill out an application and pay the annual due which is $50 for experienced lawyers, $30 for lawyers licensed less than one year, $20 for non-attorneys, and free for law students.
