The OBA not only provides several benefits to its members but it is also responsible for processing complaints against lawyers who have committed ethical violations.

For members, the Oklahoma Bar Association provides various benefits. The OBA has over 17,000 members and about 15,000 are active. For these members, the association provides numerous networking events, continuing legal education seminars, and various committees.

The Oklahoma Bar Association has committees that focus on not just specific areas within the law but also on general interests and relief programs. For example, the OBA has a Bench and Bar committee, Disaster Relief committee, Diversity committee, and Law Day committee.
