The South Carolina Chapter of the Federal Bar Association supports all of the Federal Bar Association members that live or work in South Carolina. Aside from supporting the federal legal community of South Carolina, the South Carolina Chapter of the Federal Bar Association also strives to help local residents. One important way that the South Carolina Chapter provides help to those living in South Carolina is its Military Family Service Project.

In addition to helping out people of the general public that need aid, the South Carolina Chapter of the Federal Bar Association offers several benefits to enhance its members’ professional lives. Lawyers belonging to the South Carolina Chapter never miss the “Meet & Greet” lunches that it arranges with local judiciaries throughout the state, which provide members with the opportunity to socialize and network with the judges that they frequently see only inside the courtroom. The South Carolina Chapter of the Federal Bar Association also aids future federal lawyers by arranging introductory seminars for summer law clerks working in the federal courts of the District Court of South Carolina to educate them on the basics of federal legal practice.
