Memphis Mid-South Chapter of the Federal Bar Association

The Memphis Mid-South Chapter of the Federal Bar Association serves the federal legal community in the greater Memphis metropolitan area. This region includes not only the southwestern corner of Tennessee, but also an eastern portion of Arkansas and the northwestern corner of Mississippi. Therefore, members of the Memphis Mid-South Chapter are not required to live or work in Tennessee, even though the chapter was established to support the attorneys that frequently appear in the federal courts located in southwestern Tennessee.

Members of the Memphis Mid-South Chapter of the Federal Bar Association enjoy several benefits as a result of their membership. Members stay informed of the latest developments in the local federal courts by receiving a semiannual newsletter. The association also regularly hosts educational seminars that focus on new case law precedents and changing court rules. Lawyers that belong to the Memphis Mid-South Chapter of the Federal Bar Association are frequently given the opportunity to network with other members and local federal court judges at the many social outings that the chapter hosts, including trips to Graceland and an annual barbecue contest.
