Tennessee Intellectual Property Law Association

The Tennessee Intellectual Property Law Association (TIPLA) strives to serve the intellectual property lawyers that are practicing law throughout Tennessee. As the focus of TIPLA is on the legal side of intellectual property, the majority of the members of the Tennessee Intellectual Property Law Association are lawyers that are licensed to practice law in Tennessee. However, membership for TIPLA is available to anyone in Tennessee that is interested in intellectual property law.

Members of the Tennessee Intellectual Property Law Association enjoy several benefits as a result of their membership. On its website, TIPLA provides a helpful list of hyperlinks to important federal government web pages, including online databases for the different offices of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The Tennessee Intellectual Property Law Association also ensures that its members continue to improve their intellectual property legal knowledge by hosting continuing legal education seminars semiannually.
