Tidewater Chapter of the Federal Bar Association

The Tidewater Chapter of the Federal Bar Association was created for the benefit of the lawyers practicing federal law in Virginia’s southeastern corner. Virginia’s section of the Delmarva Peninsula is also included in the Tidewater Chapter of the Federal Bar Association’s jurisdiction. All active members of the Federal Bar Association that work or live in the Norfolk and Newport News Divisions of the Eastern District of Virginia are permitted to join the Tidewater Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.

The Tidewater Chapter of the Federal Bar Association strives to maintain the high quality of federal legal practice among its members. Members are encouraged by the Tidewater Chapter of the Federal Bar Association to be a part of the community that they have created by attending the luncheons and other events that the Tidewater Chapter of the Federal Bar Association hosts on a regular basis. Also, the Tidewater Chapter of the Federal Bar Association ensures the efficient administration of justice by hosting an introductory informational session on the ins and outs of the federal court system in the Newport News and Norfolk Divisions for summer associates working for members of the Tidewater Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
