Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association

For over a century, the Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association (NPBA) has been helping the legal community of Portsmouth and Norfolk. The Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association frequently reaches out to the future lawyers of that legal community as well. Perhaps the most significant way that the NPBA supports the future attorneys of Norfolk and Portsmouth is its law student membership, providing law student members with internship opportunities and access to the Norfolk Law Library among other benefits.

Members of the NPBA enjoy several perks that are a part of belonging to the Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association. Lawyers that belong to the Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association are able to fulfill their continuing legal education requirements by attending the many educational seminars hosted by the Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association at different points during the year. The Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association also helps its members connect to potential clients through its Lawyer Referral Service.
